You use your precious first pulls, hoping for a god-tier character like Jolder or Wolf, and instead, you get… well, let’s just say it’s less than ideal. Don’t throw your controller just yet! There’s a tried-and-true method for getting a do-over, and it’s called rerolling.

If you’re willing to put in a little elbow grease, you can guarantee a phenomenal start to your Destiny journey without spending a single dime. This guide will walk you through exactly how to reroll your account and start the game with the powerhouse character you deserve.

What is Rerolling in Gacha Games?

First things first, what even is “rerolling”? If you’re new to the gacha scene, the term might sound a bit strange. In simple terms, rerolling is the process of starting a game over from scratch if you’re unhappy with your initial random character pulls. Most gacha games, including Destiny Rising, shower new players with free pulls to get them hooked. The characters you get are completely random, which is where the “gacha” (like a toy capsule machine) element comes in.

Rerolling is your way of gaming the system. By repeatedly restarting, you can keep trying your luck until you land that S-Tier hero you’ve been dreaming of. It takes patience, but trust me, starting with a top-tier character can make your entire experience smoother and way more fun.

How to Reroll in Destiny Rising

Alright, let’s get down to business. The absolute key to rerolling in Destiny Rising is to start with a Guest account. When you first launch the game, you’ll see options to link your account to Google, Facebook, or other services. Ignore all of that for now. A Guest account is your golden ticket because it’s not permanently tied to anything, meaning you can nuke it and start over as many times as you want.

Ready to roll? Follow these steps:

Launch the game and select “Guest” to create your temporary account. Don’t get attached to your character name yet; you’re just window shopping.
Grind through the tutorial. You’ll need to play up to Chapter 1-2, which is right after the “Gathering a Fireteam” mission, where you take control of Kabr. If you’re a speedrunner and skip every single cutscene, this should take you about 30-40 minutes. If you’re soaking in the story, expect it to take closer to an hour.
Claim all your goodies! Once you’re through the tutorial section, your screen will light up like a Christmas tree with exclamation marks. This is the good part! Open your menu (press TAB or tap the Ghost icon) and go on a claiming spree. Check your mailbox, mission rewards, and any other blinking icons. You should rack up enough Lumina Leafs for about 30 pulls.
Time to pull! With your currency in hand, head to the “Draw” menu. This is your moment of truth. Use all your pulls on the banners and see what you get.
Not happy? Nuke it. If you didn’t get the character you wanted, it’s time to burn it all down. Open the menu, go to Settings > Other, and then hit “Player Center” at the top.
Select “Account Deletion” to wipe your Guest account from existence. Poof! It’s gone.
Rinse and repeat. Go back to step 1 and do it all over again. Keep at it until you pull a character that makes you fist-pump the air.

Which Destiny Rising Characters Are Worth Rerolling For?

How to Secure Your Perfect Destiny Account

Once you’ve finally landed that dream character and your perfect starting lineup, you need to lock it down. You don’t want to lose all that hard work!

To save your progress, head back to the Player Center menu (the same place you went to delete your old accounts). This time, select “Bind Account”. You can link your game to a Google, Facebook, X, or Discord account. Just follow the on-screen prompts, and your god-tier account will be safe and sound, ready for you to access anytime.
