Minecraft’s Amazing Visual Refresh Arrives

The biggest visual changes for Minecraft in years are about to be made, together with thrilling new gameplay features. As many are speculating for the “Chase the Skies” update officially rolled out on June 17th, the Overworld experience, for many players, is about to be abruptly changed. For the much-awaited congratulations, this update is believed to bring much-needed glow-up to the world of Minecraft.

This major “glow up” involves much more than mere aesthetics. While Bedrock Edition players will immediately notice the effects of *Vibrant Visuals* from changes like dynamic lighting, reflections on water, or air fog, the update also comes with powerful new options for exploration and countless multiplayer encounters. Fly High with Happy Ghasts in Minecraft

The biggest attraction of the *Chase the Skies* update is the introduction of the Happy Ghast. This passive, rideable mob becomes a totally new transportation form for players, who are now able to fly through the skies.

To get the one that changes into this amiable flying comrade, a player must first go to the Nether to get a Dried Ghast block, nurture it into a Ghastling. Enhanced Player Tracking in Minecraft

Even more enhancements are made to multiplayer gameplay by the new Player Locator Bar. This intuitive bar above the XP bar allows players to track the locations of their friends easily. Forget about getting lost in huge worlds; the locator bar will give you directional indications so that you can easily locate your squad.
