“Grow A Garden,” one of Roblox’s most popular games, broke an all-time record of total players when developers of ‘The Garden Game’ officially ended their bee event over the weekend. They have now introduced an exciting new event that calls on players to collaborate together to receive prizes, a Summer Harvest. Players are also due another event update later this week. Let’s dive in and find out what we can expect from the Summer Harvest event.

Summer Harvest Event Underway

On June 21, “Grow A Garden” ended their bee event and introduced the summer harvest. The seed shop was given an overhaul, replacing all of the seeds with summer ones — minus the defaults such as carrot, strawberry, blueberry, and tomato. Players have the chance to purchase their new seeds and grow them in their garden.

At every hour, players will be prompted to gather in the center of the map where a gardener and a basket will be, and they can submit only their summer crops to the NPC “Georgia” or to the basket itself. To submit to Georgia, players can interact with her, and only during the harvest, she will have a dialogue option that allows players to submit all of the summer fruits in their inventory.

Upon submission, a sign next to the basket will tell players how many crops are in it and the level of rewards that will be given out. The rarity of rewards can range from common, uncommon, to even mythical, depending on the amount of crops given.

Once the harvest ends, players will receive a random assortment of rewards in their inventory, which can range from gear, eggs, seed packs, and more.

The rewarded seed pack gives players more summer crops that cannot be found in the ordinary seed shop.

While some players can try and fill the basket on their own, the event widely encourages all of the players in the server to work together in filling the basket in order to get bigger and better rewards.

Brand New Weather

Like before, rain, night, snow, lightning storms, meteor showers, and chocolate rain still exist, but we have since been introduced to newer weather.

With the new Summer Harvest Event, players can expect to see: wind, tornado, gale, a harsher sun, and some likely hidden other ones. Wind and gale apply the ‘windstruck’ mutation to the crops, tornado applies the ‘twisted’ mutation, and the harsher sun occurrence applies ‘sundried.’

This gives players more traits to their fruits that can boost their value when sold.

Bees And Crafting

Even though the actual Bee Swarm Event has finished, players still have access to the honey maker and the crafting tables. These can be found in the Cosmetics shop next to the Gear shop. Players can craft seed packs, gear that allows you to turn crops back into seeds, and various sprinklers and sprays that can apply a mutation trait to your fruits.

Another crafting table offers players a way to craft flower seeds by letting them submit grown fruits, seeds, and honey.

Pollination can still be applied to fruits if players have bee pets in their garden, and the pollinated crops can be submitted to the honey station, where they will be converted.

Mixed Reviews

While some “Grow A Garden” players are eager and enjoying the Summer Harvest event, others feel differently. Not many like the notion of collaborating, as not everyone always works together, and it can cause the ones who want the higher-quality prizes to risk losing out on them.

Overall, though, despite the mixed feelings, the Summer Harvest Event has been enjoyable thus far, and on June 28, players can expect another update added to this one. Stay tuned to find out what it might be.
