The dev team behind Indigo Park showed up at MomoCon this weekend with something fans weren’t quite expecting: a pirate-themed cartoon short packed with new characters, including what may be the a next villain in Chapter 2. And yep—it was just as unhinged and delightful as it sounds.

A Pirate Crew and a Coyote Captain?

In a surprise teaser during the panel, we saw Molly the Macaw crash-landing onto a pirate island. She’s joined by three younger birds who quickly decide to make her the captain of their pirate ship after failing to fix her, once again, crashed airplane. The animation was bright, funny, and totally unexpected for a horror title—and that’s exactly why it worked.

But that wasn’t all. We also caught a glimpse of another new character: a villainous coyote pirate captain named Scurve. That’s right, a full-on rival pirate with major villain vibes.

Meet the New Cast

The new birds (and their voice actors) got a warm welcome from the MomoCon crowd:

  • Pip – The shy little bird, voiced by Jossica
  • Tiki – The cutie of the crew, voiced by Cindy Osmond
  • Chip – The happy-go-lucky one, voiced by HeyHeyFireShadow
  • Scurve – The chaotic pirate coyote, voiced by Dean “Longest Solo Ever”

Safe to say, the energy from the crowd says these new characters are gonna be fan favorites when Chapter 2 drops.

Lore Implications and Emotional Baggage

So how does this all connect to the game? That’s where things get dark. According to UniqueGeese, Molly’s relationship with the three birds is more than just pirate playtime—she’s kind of a mother figure to them.

And if (or when) these cartoon birds become real-world mascots in the game? That’s gonna sting. Especially after that infamous door scene in Chapter 1. If players are suddenly dealing with three grief-stricken birds looking for their mom… yeah, that’s a narrative gut punch.

Final Thoughts: Joy, Lore, and Pirate Drama

Chapter 2 is shaping up to be something special. Between underwater horror, redesigned mascots, and now this bizarre-yet-heartfelt pirate crew, Indigo Park continues to prove it’s more than your average mascot horror game.
