If you want to make an incredibly efficient and productive base in Palworld, you’ll need two important thing: a Stone Pit and a Logging Camp, these provide you with potentially unlimited Stone and Wood, respectively. The problem is that not every pal can actually work at the Logging Camp or the Stone Pit, and a result, these facilities can go unused in your base.

In this guide we’re breaking down which early pals you can capture that will make short work of your Logging Camp and Stone Pit so you have plenty of materials to build the base of your dreams.

Pals that work at the Logging Camp in Palworld

Once you’ve got a Logging Camp you can generate Wood easily, but you’ll need a pal with the Lumbering skill. The following are early pals with the Lumbering skill that you can put to work at the Logging Camp:

  • Lifmunk
  • Tanzee
  • Eikthrydeer
  • Dinossom

Pals that work at the Stone Pit in Palworld

The Stone Pit works just like the Logging Camp, but for Stone. Pals will need the Mining skill in order to work at the Stone Pit, and that’s a bit rarer than Lumbering in the early portion of the game. These pals can be caught early, and will work at your Stone Pit:

  • Rushoar
  • Penking
  • Cattiva
