Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s newest DLC, The Indigo Disk, is filled with challenging fights, with Elite Four members being some of the most difficult battles in the series’ history. Before you get to fight them, though, you’ll have to complete their trials.

True to his nature as a chef, Crispin has you proving your worth by making a very special sandwich. A super spicy sandwich, to be exact. The trial takes the form of a trading quest, where you have to gather up ingredients, and knowing what order to do things in isn’t always easy.

This guide will teach you how to make Crispin’s super spicy sandwich in Pokémon SV: The Indigo Disk, including what order to collect ingredients and what ingredients you need to be successful.

Spicy sandwich ingredient order – The Indigo Disk Pokémon DLC

In Crispin’s trial, you’ll need to construct a sandwich using ingredients you win and trade from other trainers in the area, not using any of your own ingredients. You won’t be able to challenge everyone for ingredients though, and will instead need to partake in a series of trades to get all the ingredients you need.

Here’s the order for trading ingredients in Crispin’s super spicy sandwich trial:

1. Fight the trainer offering the potato salad
2. One of the trainers will give you three ingredients – onion, cucumber, and prosciutto – for your potato salad
3. Battle the trainer offering mayonnaise
4. A trainer will ask you a trivia question, with the possible answers being ingredients you have — answering mayonnaise will give you egg, olive oil, and vinegar
5. Trade your cucumber to the trainer offering chili sauce — do not pick ketchup
6. Trade your prosciutto and olive oil for jalapeno
7. Trade your egg for some chorizo
8. Trade your vinegar for mustard — do not pick marmalade
9. A trainer behind a rock will either battle you or offer to sell you jalapeno for 50 BP — it’s your choice whether you battle or buy

Once you’ve completed the sequence above, you’ll have the ingredients to make your super spicy sandwich.
