He mentioned that three “7” games could be included in the presentation, though he didn’t mention which specific games. A lot of fans are eager for news on Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, neither of which are “7” games. As such, this has fans wondering exactly which kind of Nintendo Direct we might be in for.

As My Nintendo News reports, “guesses online seem to suggest that we could see Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, and Ace Attorney 7.” However, none of these games are from the first-party Nintendo series. Could this mean that the Direct will be a Partners Showcase, focusing on third-party developers? That seems unlikely, since Nintendo just hosted a Partners Showcase a few weeks ago, and fans are eager for news of upcoming first-party games.
