Should you buy Soma Tree Petals?

Soma Tree Petals are important in Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown for a very simple reason: they can increase the player’s maximum HP. Of course, getting just one Soma Tree Petal is not enough. Players have to gather a total of four Petals to create a Soma Tree Flower, which will then increase the player’s HP. Normally, players will have to explore the world to find these petals and flowers. Not only that, but players also need to defeat certain bosses to receive a Petal. As such, when the opportunity to buy a Petal arises, it gets tempting to buy one.

Upon unlocking the Magi Emporium, players are presented with the option to buy a Petal from the vendor. No bosses to fight, no exploration to do, just pay the price, and crystal is yours. There are, however, some downsides. For starters, the Petal is expensive. It is worth 500 crystals and is easily the most expensive item in the shop. Not only that, but the Magi Emporium also allows the player to upgrade both their Potion capacity, as well as their Potion strength, and for a price that is way cheaper than the Petal. The shop also has Amulets that the player will need. Does it still make it worth it to buy a Soma Tree Petal?

Yes. Players should buy the Soma Tree Petals in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Of course, although the player should buy it, it doesn’t have to be the first purchase. Players can first buy the Potion upgrades and Amulets, then just buy the Petal once they get the money again. After all, the Magi Emporium only sells one Petal. Since the player needs four of them to upgrade their HP, tt’s a much better idea to just buy it once the player gets three from exploration.
