A vital note: this is the second-to-last patch rundown of Set 14, with Patch 14.8 being for fun. Riot Mortdog also announced that after the 14.8 rundown, he will be on hiatus, given that he is tasked with a job from Riot’s higher-ups for three months.

Final Thoughts

With the Tactician’s Crown around the corner, it is no surprise to see minimal changes in the Patch Rundown. Vanguard for certain needed nerfs with six Vanguard comps dominating the meta. Exotech has also been too safe in the mid game, so seeing it receive HP nerfs will make it more difficult to navigate the mid game for it. Seeing Mortdog move over to do a job for Riot will hurt, but at least he has left the game in capable hands for those three months.
