Rumor: Marvel Rivals Leak Hints At 2 New Characters Coming Soon

NetEase has been very vocal about wanting to bring new characters often to Marvel Rivals. Part of what keeps people interested in the game is new content to try and play with. New characters are one of the biggest draws. Players are constantly trying to figure out who will be the next characters to be added to the game. On Reddit, user Syphero04_ shared an image that points to the addition of two X-Men: Jean Grey and Elixir.

The screenshot is of an event page, and the characters’ real names and codenames appear under the challenges. This has led many to believe these two will be coming to the game, maybe as soon as Season 3. However, it is important to note that this is all speculation. Until we get an official word from NetEase, nothing is set in stone.

Wait, Who Is Elixir?

Most fans know who Jean Grey is. She was one of the main characters in the original X-Men trilogy. The Phoenix Saga is one of the most well-known comic book story arcs and has been revisited in a variety of ways over the years. However, even some hardcore fans had to ask about Elixir. Joshua Foley is a mutant who first appeared in New Mutants Vol. 2 #5 in November 2003. He has the ability to manipulate the structure of organic matter near him, including himself. Biokinesis is the simplified term for his abilities, but he is considered an Omega-level mutant who has the ability to resurrect himself.
