Their are eight personality types in the Animal Crossing series. They are Cranky, Jock, Lazy, Normal, Peppy, Sisterly, Smug, and Snooty. Some neighbors are more pleasant to be around than others, and some personality types are more common than others. While personality types aren’t as aggressively sought-after as specific villagers, you may find yourself desiring certain types more than others. Here are the three rarest personality types in Animal Crossing.
Sisterly neighbors are very friendly and ready to give useful advice. There are only twenty-six Sisterly villagers in New Horizons. This means that it must be quite an endeavor to get one to live on your island, right? Well, yes and no. See, when you first start the game, you have two animal neighbors coming to the island with you, and one of these will always be a Sisterly type. You can hang on to your first Sisterly neighbor, but if you let her move, it might be a chore trying to obtain another one.
Smug has thirty-eight villagers. Smug villagers love fancy stuff – they have finely-decorated houses and love to discuss high-class living. If you want a Smug neighbor, prepare to spend a lot of time at campsites or spend a lot of Nook Miles to explore other islands. While they might be difficult to obtain. However, you might find that it’s worth the effort. Smug neighbors can inspire you with their decorating skills, and they might offer you some life lessons during their conversations with you.
Peppy villagers are much more common than Sisterly and Smug, with a total of sixty-three Peppy villagers. You’ll likely have at least one Peppy villager on your island, unless you’ve been actively trying to get rid of them. But why would you do that? Peppy neighbors are lots of fun. They are full of energy and aspire to be pop stars. Many of them also have very cute designs. It’s easy to make friends with the Peppy neighbors.
Certain Animal Crossing species will be highly desirable to players because of their rarity. However, when you’re hunting for a certain villager, you might not want to forget about the personality types. Having the right kinds of personalities on your island can help make your dream paradise a reality. Seriously, you might not want to let go of that Sisterly villager who came to the island with you. She might very well be your best Animal Crossing friend.
