A Floating World of Possibilities

The Cube is an MMORPG shooter developed by Mundfish, set in the same retrofuturistic world as Atomic Heart. As mentioned before, it centers around a massive levitating Cube high above the world, made of independently moving sections.

Each of those sections features different environments and biomes, suggesting that the Cube can shift and generate new areas for players to explore—new puzzles to solve, obstacles to overcome, and plenty of unexpected challenges.

While a lot of players might gravitate toward the Battle Royale-style combat, there’s a deeper objective: uncovering the mystery of the Cube itself. How? Apparently, there’s an equation at the Cube’s core, and it’s up to players to figure out what it means—and what its existence means for the world around them.

Mystery, Progression, and One Very Cute Creature

This means the game will feature a progression mechanic and likely include character customization and development to go along with it.

But let’s not ignore the real showstopper—the adorable leafy creature shown at the end of the trailer! This thing needs to be made into a plushie immediately so fans can buy it in droves. Seriously, it’s that cute.

And yes—we can also expect the same insane level of detail we saw in Atomic Heart and the Atomic Heart 2 trailers to appear in The Cube as well. So if you’re a fan of visually stunning, high-detail sci-fi games, this one needs to go straight on your radar.
