Upcoming Summer Game Fest 2025 Schedule

Summer Game Fest is a livestream event that began in 2020, where the video game industry can come together in celebration during the summer. Summer Game Fest features digital events, demos, announcements, and breaking news for video game fans all over the world. As another year approaches for Summer Game Fest – and while the full schedule is still pending – we do have some news on what we can expect, so read on to find out what you can expect from the showcases.

Summer Game Fest Schedule

Summer Game Fest is generally set to stream from June 6 to June 9, as it does annually. Per the annual schedule, video game fans can expect Summer Game Fest to go live on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET / 9 pm GMT, from YouTube Theater, with Geoff Keighley as host. Throughout the week, many showcases will broadcast their upcoming games as well as updates. Here’s what everyone can expect on the following days.

• June 6, 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET / 9 pm GMT – Summer Game Fest Main Broadcast
• June 6, 4 pm PT / 7 pm ET / 11 pm GMT – Day of the Devs Showcase
• June 8, 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm GMT – Xbox Showcase / Outer Worlds 2 Direct

Summer Game Fest Events

Here’s a shallow dive into the upcoming events that will be broadcast and what you can expect from them.

• Summer Game Fest Main Broadcast – Geoff Keighley hosts the main broadcast, where thousands of video game fans will get a first look at what’s in store for video games
• Day of the Devs Showcase – This non-profit broadcast will highlight independent (indie) game developers and what they want fans to look forward to
• Xbox Showcase – Join Microsoft in their Xbox broadcast, where they will promote upcoming Xbox games and other exciting news
• Outer Worlds 2 Direct – This broadcast is to highlight Outer Worlds 2 and what players can expect from this anticipated game
