The 2020 NFL season is going to be unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The league will attempt to play its season amd a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement as a major backdrop.

It certainly is a changing of the guard right now. The NFL just recently came out in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

'Madden 21' to feature players taking a knee as a form of protest, celebration

Earlier this week the "Madden" franchise added free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick to the game for the first time since 2016. He’s ranked No. 81 overall, better than half the starting quarterbacks in the NFL.

As you likely remember, Kaepernick led the now-infamous protests during the national anthem around the NFL back in 2016 to protest police brutality and racial inequality in the United States.

"Madden" also did something interesting with the inclusion of Kaepernick.

As with everything else in the United States, these two new features will ultimately end up being divisive within the gaming community. Such is the nature of the beast in society today.
