Weekly Free Games on the Epic Games Store Oct 9 – Oct 16, 2025

First up is Gravity Circuit, an old-school-style 2D platformer with mechanics that will look familiar to anyone who’s played arcade-style games. It’s a single-player game that was created by indie developer Domesticated Ant Games and is available for Windows PC gamers. Although it looks like something out of the 80s or 90s, this game was released in 2023. The game is rated Everyone 10+.

In Gravity Circuit, you play as Kai, an operative of this world’s previous war who has the special ability to wield the powers of something called the Gravity Circuit. You’ll be fighting the Virus Army in a post-apocalyptic world through 12 stages with secrets to uncover, civilians to rescue, and enemies to defeat. Explore, gain new powers, and save the world!

Albion Online Rogue Journeyman Bundle

Players of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Albion Online, will want to nab this bundle, which includes over $55 worth of items for the game.

Albion Online itself is available for free through the Epic Games Store from developer Sandbox Interactive GmbH. It’s a fantasy open-world sandbox with a player-driven economy, PvP with looting, and territories that guilds build up and defend (or attack). It is available for PC and Mac and was originally released in 2017.

From the mobile Epic Games Store: Double Dragon Trilogy

This is some seriously old-school gaming. Double Dragon debuted in arcades in 1987. The three included games have been optimized for mobile and include everyone’s favorite action moves from the arcade hits. There are two game modes: “Arcade,” where you play through from start to finish and aim for the highest score, and “Story,” which allows you to unlock stages and achievements as you play through.

Controls are customizable, and there are three levels of difficulty: Mobile, Original, and Expert. You can also choose the original 8-bit soundtrack or the new remastered soundtrack. Finally, and possibly best of all, it supports gamepads!

How to Claim Freebies From the Epic Games Store

Whether you want to play on your PC, Mac, Android, or iOS device, you can find the download information on the Epic Games Store website. If you’re on a computer, you can download the  Epic Games Launcher to access and play your games. I know that’s not exactly shocking, and you probably figured that out already.

For the mobile games, you’ll need the QR code. Use the camera on your mobile device to scan the QR code, which will direct you to the download page. You will have to enable downloads from other sources. (Other than the native app store, that is.) This app isn’t available on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. After installing the app, launch it, sign in, and then scroll down to find the current free game.
