Weekly Free Games on the Epic Games Store Sep 25 – Oct 2, 2025

First up this week is Eastern Exorcist, a 2D, side-scrolling, action RPG. Before learning anything else about this game, the hand-drawn Chinese ink painting style of the graphics grabbed my attention. It’s absolutely gorgeous – even if it is providing a backdrop to some violent battles with demons. You’ll be fighting your way through this beautiful world to defeat evil demons using tactical combat mechanics. And it has controller support, which makes sense given the combat.

Note that to view details of this game, you will need to provide your birthdate due to the content. Eastern Exorcist usually retails for $17.99 on the Epic Games Store. It was released in 2023 and comes to us from Wildfire Game and Thermite Games. You can also claim a copy in the Epic Games Store Mobile app, where it’s usually $3.99

Jorel’s Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy

The second freebie this week couldn’t be more different. Jorel’s Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy features a cartoony art style that will instantly remind you of silly cartoons targeted at kids, but always includes elements for adults.  In this case, it’s with good reason as it’s based on the Brazilian TV series, “Jorel’s Brother.” In this point-and-click adventure, you’ll play as Jorel’s eight-year-old little brother. See, a video game fell from the sky! And this little guy wants to play it, at any cost. 

The game is made to feel like playing an episode of the show as you meet many characters, play minigames, solve puzzles, and more. Jorel’s Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy is normally $14.99 on the Epic Games Store. It was initially released in 2023 by Double Dash Studios.

How to Claim Freebies From the Epic Games Store

Whether you want to play on your PC or your Android (or iOS) device, you can find the download information on the Epic Games Store website. If you’re on a PC, you can download the  Epic Games Launcher to access and play your games. I know, I know. That’s not exactly shocking, and you probably figured that out already.

For the mobile games, you’ll need the QR code. Use the camera on your mobile device to scan the QR code, which will direct you to the download page. You will have to enable downloads from other sources. (Other than the native app store, that is.) This app isn’t available on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. After installing the app, launch it, sign in, and then scroll down to find the current free game.
