Fnatic had low expectations for Worlds. They came in as one of the weakest teams in the competition. However, despite these low expectations, they managed to disappoint fans. They lost unceremoniously in the majority of their matches. Their only victory came against fellow LEC competition, Movistar KOI. Their win is more attributed to a lack of proactivity from MKOI’s composition. Mikyx is confirmed to be leaving the roster, but who will join him in the offseason?

Worlds 2025: Fnatic Player Review

Oscarinin

Total Apex rating – 4.6 (17th among top laners, tied 81st among players)

Champions Played

  • Ambessa
  • Jax
  • K’Sante
  • Poppy
  • Rumble

After Oscar’s performance against Karmine Corp, fans had hope. He managed to take down Canna, the best LEC top laner. However, that was short-lived. He never delivered at Worlds. Despite the hopes for Oscarinin, he performed more or less to the expected level.

Razork

Total Apex rating – 5.0 (16th among junglers, tied 71st among players)

Champions Played

  • Vi (2)
  • Jarvan IV
  • Pantheon
  • Trundle

Razork was another player who had the potential to deliver at Worlds. However, he never unlocked it. He was not the worst player on the roster, but he rarely had positive contributions. FNC bled out throughout Worlds, and Razork was a key part of that. He should be the driving force on the roster, but he failed in that aspect.

Poby

Total Apex rating – 5.2 (tied 15th among mid laners, tied 68th among players)

Champions Played

  • Aurora
  • Azir
  • Cassiopeia
  • Taliyah
  • Viktor

Poby got brought onto the roster to be the facilitator. He helps FNC make plays. But with a lack of aggression and proactivity from the rest of the roster, he had little to do. Poby did not blow anyone out of the water at Worlds. However, that is not his playstyle. He performed better than expected during Worlds.

Upset

Total Apex rating – 4.6 (15th among bot laners, tied 81st among players)

Champions Played

  • Ezreal (2)
  • Caitlyn
  • Kai’Sa
  • Xayah

During his career, many have criticised Upset for being a K/D/A player. He had a moment that brought that critique to bear as he used Rift Herald to be the lone escapee. His worst performance came on Caitlyn. Alongside Mikyx’s Morgana, they overforced a play twice. Dying to Shad0w’s ganks on both occasions meant the game was doomed for FNC. Expectations were higher for Upset, but he did not perform. Granted, part of that is on FNC’s drafting.

Mikyx

Total Apex rating – 5.4 (tied 8th among supports, tied 55th among players)

Champions Played

  • Alistar
  • Morgana
  • Nautilus
  • Poppy
  • Rell

Miky’s only disastrous performance was his Morgana game. The rest of Worlds he was solid. His best game was on Poppy against MKOI. He was the one finding the engagement angles for FNC to earn them their sole victory at Worlds 2025. Miky had a disappointing performance for his standards.

Fnatic Team Review

The individual players on Fnatic make them a strong team on paper. However, as a unit, they struggle to deliver in games. That had been their issue throughout the year, even with Humanoid. Worlds were no different, as they always seemed to be on a different page. Going out 0-3 was not a surprise, but the way in which it happened disappointed everyone.
