Today, we said goodbye to two more teams competing at Worlds. Fnatic and PSG Talon could not defeat their opponents in the form of Movistar KOI and Vivo Keyd Stars. The two teams leave the competition with one game win as they both lost 2-1 in today’s series. MKOI and VKS live to fight another day after confident performances in their series. The draw for the upcoming rounds has also been conducted, and there are exciting matchups.

Worlds 2025: Movistar KOI Versus Fnatic

Coming into the series today, MKOI were the favorites. They had looked better during Worlds and have bested FNC throughout the year. Games one and three were dominant performances from the Spanish team, where FNC failed to find a footing in the game. The second draft from MKOI gave FNC room to win the early game due to the scaling of Kassadin and Sivir. The lack of proactivity early came back to bite MKOI as FNC stomped game two. The Vayne pick from Supa helped them close out the series.

Worlds 2025 Vivo Keyd Stars Versus PSG Talon

Given the results at Worlds, many gave PSG the advantage. However, VKS came out swinging, taking the fight to the LCP third seed. The onslaught from VKS was relentless throughout the series, even in the game that they lost. They had a chance to end the series 2-0, despite early jungle dominance from Karsa. An overplayed team fight on the Atakhan meant VKS lost all the momentum. Despite the deficit, VKS kept fighting, leaving multiple PSG members on low health, but could not finish the kills. Game three went on longer than expected, but in the end, they closed it out.
