Starting Strong

Winning the first game of the Swiss Stage does not guarantee a team’s success. G2 Esports, for example, has won its last two Round 1 Matches but failed to make the knockouts. T1, on the other hand, lost their first match, but ended up with a 3-1 record in Swiss and won Worlds. However, a victory can build confidence, especially if they can defy the odds.
