Soar with the wind and protect those close to you with the best Wuthering Waves Yangyang build. This 4-Star Aero character fills a support role thanks to her crowd control abilities and buffs, enabling smooth rotations for your team.

Her Resonance Skill, Zephyr Domain, creates a vortex that pulls in enemies and harms them with Aero Damage.

Yangyang’s Resonance Skill, Wind Spirals, summons a cyclone with similar effects to Zephyr Domain, but on a larger scale.

Her Forte Circuit enables her to stack up to three Melodies, which she can consume to trigger special Heavy or Mid-air Attacks. Said special Mid-air Attack, Feather Release, can recover 30 Stamina for Yangyang thanks to one of her Inherent Skills. The other Inherent Skill raises her Aero Damage across the board.

Yangyang’s Intro Skill throws a target into the air, dealing Aero Damage to it, while her Outro triggers continuous Energy Regeneration for the swapped-in character.

Pulling duplicates of Yangyang enables you to fill out her Resonance Chain, bolstering her abilities further. Sequence Node 1 (S1) adds an Aero Damage bonus to her Intro, while S2 restores Resonance Energy for Yangyang after hitting with a Heavy Attack. S3 improves the crowd control effect of her Resonance Skill, increasing its range and damage. S4 boosts Feather Release’s damage, while S5 does the same for her Resonance Liberation. Finally, S6 provides a teamwide Attack buff after the use of Feather Release.

Yangyang is a bit of an odd one, since her kit really focuses on enhancing her own damage – but her output never really is more than mediocre despite that. That said, since her supporting abilities are largely independent of stats, you’ll still want to maximize her damage as much as you can so she’s able to contribute to the team’s overall DPS. The 5-Star sword Emerald of Genesis covers it all with its Energy Regeneration, Critical Rate, and Attack bonuses.

Best Yangyang weapons in Wuthering Waves:

Yangyang can provide her team with some additional benefits through the Moonlit Clouds Sonata Effect, as this allows her to generate an Attack buff for the Resonator following her into the field. In addition to this you can choose Impermanence Heron as her Main Echo, which has a similar damage buff in store.

Focus on Energy Regeneration to ensure that Yangyang’s crowd control is available quickly and fill the rest with offensive stats to upgrade her meager damage output. You never want Yangyang to be on the field for too long anyways, but maximizing the DPS of her abilities is still a good idea.

Best Yangyang Echoes in Wuthering Waves:

Best Echoes main stats for Yangyang in Wuthering Waves:

Best Echoes sub stats for Yangyang in Wuthering Waves:

Yangyang is a strange mixture between a regular hybrid and a support character, but she can be quite effective as an enabler when accompanying an Energy-hungry Main DPS.

If you don’t have Mortefi, who is definitely the first choice as Jiyan’s attendant, Yangyang is quite an astute pick: Though she can’t match the additional DPS Mortefi creates with his kit, her skills help Jiyan by conveniently grouping up enemies to make them easier to dispatch and restoring his Resonance Energy to allow for quicker Resonance Liberation activation. As usual, use either Verina or Baizhi as a healer to keep the team alive.

Once Yangyang has joined your team, you’ll want to level her up as quickly as possible, for which you’ll require the following materials:

Rings drop from many of the human outlaws found around the map. Roaring Rock Fist can only be obtained from challenging Feilian Beringal, who’s at home under the Giant Banyan in the Dim Forest. Wintry Bell flourishes in the Tolling Stream. The best source of Shell Credits is the Simulation Challenge you can tackle at the Training Ground in Jinzhou.

In addition to leveling Yangyang up, you’ll need to upgrade all of her skills. For this, you’ll need the following materials:

For the materials already mentioned, check above. Metallic Drip and its improved versions can be obtained from the Forgery Challenge: Flaming Remnants, which you can enter from the Guidebook, or purchased from Uncle Wei in Jinzhou in limited quantities. Unending Destruction can be farmed from Scar.

Keenan Allen's return to Bears seems possible now

Following the selections of tight end Colston Loveland in the first round and wide receiver Luther Buden III in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, it seemed that the idea of Keenan Allen’s return to the Chicago Bears for the upcoming season was dead. Last year, the Bears traded a fourth-round pick to the Los Angeles Chargers for Allen to come to Chicago on the final season of his contract. Allen said he planned to choose between the Bears and a team in Los Angeles during free agency this offseason. The Bears are looking for a wide receiver No team has signed the veteran receiver. Allen is coming off a season where he recorded 70 receptions for 744 yards and seven touchdowns. The Bears signaled they’re not done looking for wide receiver help before training camp practice begins on Wednesday. On Monday, reports surfaced that Chicago visited with former Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver DJ Chark. Chark met with the Bears NFL.com's Christian Gonzales suggested that Chark could be available for the Chargers after Mike Williams announced his retirement from the league last week. “There is an opening for Chark to pursue a possible reunion with the Chargers after veteran wide receiver Mike Williams informed the team this week that he is retiring from the NFL," wrote Gonzales. “Only time will tell if Chark gets a call from the Bolts or another team in search of a crafty veteran wideout. If he does, Chark says he’s still staying in shape.” Allen’s name immediately came up as an option for the Chargers when Williams’ announcement became public. If the Chargers decide to give quarterback Justin Herbert a familiar pass catcher by signing Chark, it would make sense for Allen to be in the mix to join the Bears in 2025. After all, the Bears let the league and Allen’s agent know they’re looking for a veteran receiver.

4 Steelers Players' Roster Spots Could Be In Jeopardy Ahead Of 2025 NFL Season

The Pittsburgh Steelers have brought in a bunch of new faces, bringing a fresh sense of excitement and optimism ahead of the upcoming season. As the organization continues to make moves and finalize its roster, it seems like they’re tying up loose ends and preparing for this upcoming season. However, the changes might not be finished just yet, as a Steelers insider predicts a few potential cuts on the horizon. On a recent episode of the Chipped Ham Football podcast, Steelers insiders Brian Batko and Ray Fittipaldo talked about how the team looks heading into the rapidly approaching training camp. When the conversation shifted to potential roster cuts, Batko named four players who could be at risk, adding that he believes one or two of them are likely to be let go by cutdown day. "To me, I look at it as there's three L's here," Batko said. "[Isaiahh] Loudermilk, [Dean] Lowry, [Logan] Lee. Actually, four L's. Loudermilk, Lowry, [DeMarvin] Leal, Lee. I think one or two of those guys unfortunately for them, are probably going to take an L on cutdown day." Cutdown Day in the NFL is when teams have to shrink their rosters from the offseason maximum that can be around 90 players to just 53 for the regular season. It usually happens at the end of preseason and is a big moment for players fighting for a spot. Some make the team, some get released, and others might be moved to the practice squad. It’s a stressful and emotional time, as one decision can change a player’s entire career. During the podcast, Batko noted that the defensive line and linebacker groups are the most likely areas for surprise cuts. With a crowded defensive line room, it’s clear the Steelers have made a strong push to bolster that unit, which could lead to some tough roster decisions. The Steelers used their highly valued first-round pick in this year's NFL Draft to select Derrick Harmon, a talented young defensive tackle from the University of Oregon. While it's common for rookies to spend time developing before earning significant playing time, Harmon seems to be the exception. Early indications from the team suggest that he’s already in line for a starting role, highlighting both his potential and the confidence the coaching staff has in his ability to make an immediate impact. The Steelers’ defensive line has some big questions as the season starts. Veteran defensive tackle Cam Heyward, who is 36, still plays well and brings experience. However, beyond him, most of the players are young draft picks or longshots who haven’t proven themselves yet. Since the team didn’t sign any big free agents, they’re relying on Harmon and other young players to quickly step up and help Heyward hold down the defense. Heyward has been a key piece of the Steelers’ defense for years, with an insider even ranking him among the top three defensive linemen in franchise history. However, now at 36, the Steelers know they need to prepare for the day when Heyward is no longer on the field. That’s why they’re focusing on developing younger players to eventually fill his role. Finding the right balance between veteran experience and promising talent is a tough thing, but it’s a strategy the Steelers have used across their entire roster this offseason. The Steelers Are Putting In The Work With offseason programs underway and training camp quickly approaching, now is the perfect time for players like Batko mentioned that are on the cusp to show why they deserve a spot on the roster. Cutdown days are always tough, but ultimately, the NFL is a business. The Steelers have to make the best decisions to ensure they have the strongest roster possible heading into the season, but fans are excited and hopeful for this team this year.

WNBA All-Star Game ratings paint a troubling picture

WNBA players sent a message to the league with T-shirts they wore ahead of the All-Star Game on Saturday night, but the ratings for the game did not exactly strengthen their stance. Prior to the All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind., Caitlin Clark and other players warmed up in shirts that said “Pay us what you owe us” across the front. The message had to do with the current state of collective bargaining agreement negotiations between the WNBA and WNBA Player’s Association. Unfortunately for the players, the television ratings for the game were not very good. Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports reported on Tuesday that the WNBA All-Star Game drew 2.19 million viewers on ABC, which was down roughly 36% from a year ago. Last year’s game featured the WNBA All-Stars against the Team USA squad that was preparing to compete in the Summer Olympics in Paris. The dip in ratings is likely another example of the type of impact Clark has had on the WNBA. Although she was a team captain for this year’s All-Star Game, Clark did not play due to a groin injury. Clark played in last year’s game for the All-Star side, as she did not make the Team USA Olympic roster. Many fans were outraged that she was snubbed from the Olympic team, which added an element of intrigue to the All-Star Game. There is no way of knowing for certain whether more fans would have watched the All-Star Game on Saturday night had Clark played. It is a safe guess, however, especially when you look at some recent trends for the league.

Knicks Predicted to Part Ways With Karl-Anthony Towns in Blockbuster Three-Team Trade

The New York Knicks are looking to make more moves to upgrade their depth as they figure to be one of the teams to beat in the Eastern Conference next season. Of course, the Knicks made their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance since 2000 last season and with the amount of injuries to top players in the East, the Conference is wide open entering next season. Because of this, the Knicks have emerged as one of the favorites to win the East thanks to their core led by Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. Despite this, Sports Illustrated’s Jackson Caudell and Rohan Raman recently created a three-team mock trade that would see the Knicks move on from Towns. In the trade, the Knicks would add Jrue Holiday, Robert Williams III and a 2028 first-round pick via the Portland Trail Blazers while they would send Towns and Pacome Dadiet to Portland. The Trail Blazers would also send Duop Reath to the Atlanta Hawks in this proposed mock trade. While the Knicks are looking at ways to improve their depth, moving on from Towns would be a tough decision for them to make despite his struggles, especially on the defensive side, during the playoffs last season. It would also be a tough decision to swap Towns for Williams III due to his injury history, especially with Mitchell Robinson’s injury history as well and the Knicks’ lack of true center depth. While that may be the case, adding a veteran point guard in Holiday to the second unit could be a good addition to the Knicks’ bench and Williams III would also give them more size. Despite this, it is highly unlikely that the Knicks will move on from Towns this summer and likely into next season as they see their core being able to help them compete for a championship next season.
