Today is Thursday, April 30, and nine days remain until the Las Vegas Aces open the 2026 season. At Dice City Sports, we are counting down to opening tip as the defending champs chase a fourth championship in five years while we rank the top 14 players in franchise history.
Hamby checks in at No. 9 after an eight-season run with San Antonio and Las Vegas. Across 242 games with the franchise, she averaged 9.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 47.6% from the field.
Her impact grew after the move to Las Vegas. Hamby won back-to-back Sixth Player of the Year awards in 2019 and 2020, then earned All-Star honors in 2021 and 2022. She also helped the Aces win the 2022 WNBA championship, averaging 9.3 points and 7.1 rebounds that season.
Hamby ranks this high because she became one of the franchise’s best energy players and most productive reserves. Her rebounding, efficiency and two Sixth Player awards made her a major piece of the Aces’ rise into a championship team.
