Before tipoff of what could be a championship-clinching Game Four against the Phoenix Mercury, Las Vegas Aces stars A’ja Wilson and Jackie Young have received high honors from the WNBA.

On Friday, it was revealed that Wilson and Young have found themselves on the All-WNBA teams for the 2025 season. Wilson, who won her league-record fourth MVP award, unsurprisingly found herself with the first team, while Young was placed on the second team. It is Wilson’s sixth consecutive All-WNBA appearance, and Young’s third career appearance.

Both have gone on complete tears during the second half of the season and the playoffs, taking the Aces from the playoff bubble to the verge of a dynasty.

Wilson finished the season as the league leader in scoring (23.4 points per game) and blocks (2.3 bpg), and her statistical and analytical dominance continues to amaze. Her 13 30-point games this season are the most in a single season in league history. In addition, Wilson became the first player ever to record a 30-20 double-double, putting up 32 points and 20 rebounds against the Connecticut Sun on Aug. 11.

Young put together a tremendous season in her own right, ranking in the top 15 in scoring (16.5 ppg), assists (5.1 apg) and steals (1.3 spg). She was one of seven players to put up a triple-double, as well as one of two to complete the achievement more than once. Young put up an 18-11-11 stat line against the Los Angeles Sparks on July 29, then put up a 10-10-11 line against the Atlanta Dream on Aug. 27.

Both have played integral parts in the Aces’ success for years now, and their hard work this season has their team closing in on another banner hanging from the rafters of Michelob ULTRA Arena.
