The Las Vegas (9-10) are back at home to take on the Golden State Valkyries (10-9) on Saturday, July 12 at 1pm PT on CBS.

After suffering a tight loss in the closing seconds, 68-70, the Aces work to find strength and play a complete game in the absence of their MVP A’ja Wilson.

The Aces look to lean on Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray, Jewell Loyd, newcomer NaLyssa Smith, and the spark Dana Evans.

All-Star reserve Jackie Young has consistently continued to be one of the Aces key pieces with her scoring and aggressive play in the paint. Over the past nine games, Young has averaged 15.3 points.

Over the last three games, Evans is averaging 15 points and shooting 59.3% from the floor. She’s averaged 6.4 points per game for the season.

In Saturday’s game, the Aces will welcome back former assistant coach and current Golden State Valkyries coach Natalie Nakase.

Nakase was a part of the Aces coaching staff during their back-to-back championship run.

Golden State enters Saturday’s game winning 5 out of their last 8 games.

The Valkyries will be without the presence of Tiffany Hayes who is out due to a nose injury.

The Valkyries are led by first time All-Star Kayla Thornton. Thornton is averaging 15.1 points per game, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game.

In the first meeting between the two teams, the Aces fell to the Valkyries by 21 points. A’ja Wilson led the Aces, scoring 17 points, while Chelsea Gray scored 16 points.
