The Las Vegas Aces are 5-5 after a close loss, 76-70 to the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday afternoon.

On Tuesday, they head off to Minnesota to take on the Lynx at 5pm PT at the Target Center.

Aces center A’ja Wilson will miss a third straight game; she is still in concussion protocol.

Wilson was hurt during the June 11 game against the Los Angeles Sparks. She left the game in the third quarter.

The Aces finished their three-game homestand 1-2, with their only win coming against the Dallas Wings.

In A’ja Wilson’s absence, the Aces have shuffled the line up. Starting Elizabeth Kitley at center and Tiffany Mitchell in their loss to the Mercury on Sunday.

Tuesday’s game against the Lynx marks the final game in the Commissioner’s Cup in-season tournament.

The Aces are 2-3 in the tournament; they will not move on to the final, but they were able to donate $9,000 to the charity of their choice, which was the Anit-Defamation League.

Minnesota is led by Napheesa Collier, the 2024 Defensive Player of the Year. Collier is averaging 26.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game.

The Lynx have the best record in the league and suffered their first loss, 94-84 on Wednesday to the Seattle Storm. They are 4-1 in the Commissioner’s Cup.
