Aliyah Boston played a big role in the Indiana Fever's 2025 success despite Caitlin Clark's absence. The 6'5" center born in the U.S. Virgin Islands was an unstoppable force for Stephanie White, averaging 15.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 44 appearances.
Indiana's rabid basketball base now expect the Fever to make an even deeper postseason run and possibly win it all in 2026, which is possible with Boston, Clark and Kelsey Mitchell leading the charge.
The team will also get a shot of energy and drive after acquiring top talent through the 2026 WNBA Draft. Boston is especially excited with this year's class of rookies as she shares a personal connection with one of them.
Boston took to Instagram after the Fever drafted Raven Johnson and Justine Pissott in the 2026 WNBA Draft, dedicating stories to the two new Fever players.
The 24-year-old center was especially excited with Johnson's arrival, with the two sharing a history during their time with the South Carolina Gamecocks.
"My freshieee babyyyy," Boston wrote on a repost of the Fever's Raven Johnson draft announcement. "Let's get it Ray Ray."
While she doesn't have much history with Pissott as Johnson, she showed equal levels of eagerness with the second-round selection's arrival into the team. "Let's get it!!!" she captioned the repost of Pissott's selection in the second round.
The two rookies will provide energy, scoring and maturity that's welcomed into the Fever locker room. Johnson was a key figure in South Carolina's incredible back-to-back runs to the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Finals and is a member of the 2025-26 WBCA All-American and Women's AP All-American squad. Meanwhile, Pissott is a reliable scorer from deep, making 42% of her three-point attempts.
