Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has become one of the most popular names in the sports world. She is set to enter her second WNBA season in 2025 and is now being joined by her former LSU teammate, Hailey Van Lith, following her selection at No. 11 overall in the 2025 WNBA draft.

Reese put together a strong 2024 season as a rookie with the Sky. She is looking to build off of that campaign and help lead Chicago back to the playoffs this season.

During the 2024 WNBA campaign, Reese played in 34 games. She averaged 13.6 points per game to go along with 13.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.3 steals, while shooting 39.1% from the floor and 73.6% from the free throw line.

With her 13.1 rebounds per game, Reese led the WNBA in that category. The next closest player was A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, who averaged 11.9 rebounds per game.

On May 2, the Sky will take on the Brazilian national team in their preseason opener. Reese and Chicago will open the regular season on May 17 against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.

Ahead of the start of her second season, Reese took to social media to share two major accomplishments that she has made.

She announced that she retired her mother and also became a homeowner at the age of 22.

WNBA Central also shared a picture of Reese following the purchase of her first home.

There are many haters who don't want to see Reese succeed, but she is doing just fine at proving all of the doubters wrong.
