Angel Reese , Chicago Sky power forward, recently celebrated the birthday of her beloved pet dog, Tiago King Reese, who turned two. Reese got Tiago, a terrier, back when she was dating Cam’Ron Fletcher. She kept Tiago even after her highly publicized breakup with Fletcher, and clearly spoils the little brat.
Reese shared a couple of pictures of Tiago’s birthday celebrations, with one snap showing her adorable pet eating a birthday cake with a candle, which was obviously unlit. In another picture, Tiago can be seen posing for the camera in his luxurious Louis Vuitton dog bag.
“Happy birthday 2nd birthday to my baby boy @tiago.king5.” Angel Reese wished her sweetheart pet dog, Tiago, sharing a picture of him eating his birthday cake.
“You’re so big now
@tiago.king5 mommy loves you!” Reese captioned another Instagram post showing Tiago sitting in his LV dog bag.
While Angel Reese is out there celebrating the second birthday of her dear dog, Chicago Sky fans are ripping her on social media for not performing up to par in the ongoing WNBA season. Reese was pretty impressive in her rookie season with the Chicago Sky, with whom she signed last year. However, in this particular WNBA season, Reese has definitely not been doing her part on the court, which has led to thousands of angry fans.
The latest of her lackluster performances came on Saturday as she and the Sky were matched with the Indiana Fever. After falling to them abysmally in the season opener, the Chicago Sky were expected to turn things around with a bang. However, the Sky were demolished by the Fever, with Reese herself putting up only four points for the team.
While the Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark rivalry definitely brings plenty of drama to the WNBA, it also comes with plenty of repercussions. Candace Parker, WNBA legend, has recently asked the league and also WNBA fans to avoid continuously pitting Reese against Clark and bringing up new controversies.
The rivalry has even brought Reese closer to dangerous situations with many Indiana Fever fans even threatening her life in the previous season. Fever fans also made several racist remarks against Reese in the 2024 WNBA season and seemed to have repeated their behavior in the season opening game between Indiana and Chicago. It eventually led to a WNBA investigation which reported that it found no evidence of such racist remarks against Angel Reese by Fever fans.
