Angel Reese Had No Words for Chicago Sky Announcement on Thursday

Angel Reese has been a household name in women's basketball for years.

Reese made a name for herself as one of the popular women's college basketball players during her time with the LSU Tigers.

After helping lead LSU to a national championship, she was selected by the Chicago Sky, starting her journey in the WNBA last season.

While Reese had an incredible rookie campaign with the Sky, she's heading into a new role, likely one that serves a leadership angle under head coach Tyler Marsh.

As Marsh leads the Sky into his first season, Chicago announced its official roster.

Reese reposted the roster on social media, sharing the Chicago Sky announcement with over 4.9 million followers, seemingly showing support for her team.

Here's a look at the official roster of the Chicago Sky for the 2025 WNBA season: Elizabeth Williams, Hailey Van Lith, Moriah Jefferson, Angel Reese, Ariel Atkins, Rebecca Allen, Kamilla Cardoso, Kia Nurse, Michaela Onyenwere, Maddy Westbeld, Courtney Vandersloot and Rachel Banham.

Several key returners from last season, where the Sky posted a 13-27 record, include Angel Reese, Rachel Banham, Kamilla Cardoso and Elizabeth Williams.

In her rookie season with the Chicago Sky, Angel Reese posted 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.

Reese led the WNBA in average rebounds, establishing herself as one of the best forwards in the league. She was also the only rookie to average a double-double.

The Sky star is now looking to help the Sky improve and potentially play in her first WNBA postseason with the help of coach Tyler Marsh.
