To open up the 2025 WNBA season, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever took on Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. And the two rivals got into it in the second half.
With about 4:40 left to play in the third quarter, Sky guard Rebecca Allen attempted a 3-point shot that bounced off the back of the rim.
After Reese grabbed the offensive rebound, she went up for a layup before Clark grabbed her, pushing her down to the court.
Reese got up immediately and had some heated words for Clark, who just walked away as the rest of the players dissolved the situation.

Clark received a flagrant for the slight push, while both Reese and Aliyah Boston, who were jawing after the incident, received technical fouls.
A new close-up video of Clark and Reese's exchanged was posted on social media, and it appeared that the former LSU Tigers star had some explicit words for her rival.
“You crazy as (expletive),” Reese told Clark. “What the (expletive) is wrong with you?”
The Fever and Sky have had numerous heated interactions with each other since Clark and Reese joined the league in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Last season, former Chicago guard Chennedy Carter received a flagrant for shouldering Clark to the ground.
But it was Indiana who got the last laugh on Saturday, walking away with a dominant double-digit win.
Next up for the Fever, they will take on Brittney Griner and the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday. The Sky, on the other hand, will get a few days off before facing Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty on Thursday.
