Since the WNBA All-Star break, Angel Reese has been absent for a majority of the Chicago Sky's games, including the last four due to a back injury.
In the six games Reese has missed since All-Star weekend, the Sky have struggled, going 1-5 and dropping to 8-22 overall on the 2025 WNBA season.
On Saturday, Chicago will travel to Indianapolis to take on the Indiana Fever for the fourth time this season. And the Sky will be missing their star once again.
For a fifth straight game, the Sky have announced that Reese will be unable to play, still recovering from her back injury. The former LSU Tigers star hasn't seen any action since July 29, when she recorded 22 points and 13 rebounds in a loss to the Washington Mystics.
The Sky also revealed that three other players are on the injury report for Saturday's contest. They are as follows (via WNBA reporter Karli Bell):
While Reese and the Sky have had their fair share of injury issues, the Fever are no different. They have been without Caitlin Clark for the past nine games due to a groin injury. The All-WNBA point guard will likely be out again on Saturday.
But the Fever will only have nine players and zero point guards available for Saturday's game against Chicago. In Thursday's loss to the Phoenix Mercury, both Aari McDonald (foot) and Sydney Colson (ACL) suffered major injuries, ending their seasons.
