Angel Reese had another big season with the Chicago Sky. Despite the team's failure to make the playoffs, the 23-year-old star impressed throughout the campaign and became an All-Star once again.
The former LSU forward averaged 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals in 30 games played during the 2025 season. She made history as the fastest player to reach 500 points and 500 rebounds, all while also setting the second-highest rebounding average in a single campaign.
Although Reese's main focus remains the WNBA, she has constantly emphasized that she's more than a basketball player. Previously, the Sky star said that she wants to be a "model," "fashion girlie," "influencer business woman" and so much more.
Now, Reese has shared another goal to add to her résumé: becoming an actress.
Reese said as much in an exclusive interview with People, where she also revealed that she will be hiring an acting coach as she pursues an acting career.
"I want to get an acting coach," Reese said during the New York Film Festival, where the Netflix film "A House of Dynamite" premiered. The WNBA youngster has a cameo role in the flick.
"I was talking to Common — he's overseas right now shooting season 2 of 'Silo' — and he was telling me, 'You got to hire an acting coach.' So I'm going to hire an acting coach. I model already, so it's like adding to the résumé. I'm young right now, so I'm going to do it while I'm young."
It will definitely be interesting to see how Reese's acting career pans out, but considering her popularity and determination to be successful at everything she does, there should be plenty of opportunities for her.
For what it's worth, there have been a number of athletes who have ventured into acting as well. More recently, Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum and NFL tight end Travis Kelce both appeared in "Happy Gilmore 2."
