WNBA star Angel has been on a roll over the Chicago Sky's past few games after a slow start to the season. On Saturday, she extended her hot stretch with another historic game, this time against the Minnesota Lynx.
Reese finished with a monster double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds, along with four assists and two steals to help the Sky take the 87-81 victory.
With her performance, the 23-year-old forward became the fastest player to reach 40 double-doubles, according to Polymarket Hoops. Not only that, but she also became the fastest player to reach 250 rebounds in a single season.
Following the game, Reese reflected on her performance and the overall experience of playing in front of the Chicago fans at home. The two-time All-Star couldn't help but compare the atmosphere from Saturday's game to her past experiences where fans were really into the game.
"i felt like i was at the DOME today in Baltimore IYKTYK straight black top vibes," Reese wrote, as she shared a video of one of her plays during the game that had the fans at Wintrust Arena hyped up.

Angel Reese has every reason to be happy, that's for sure. The Sky improved to 7-13 on the season with the win, pushing them closer to a potential playoff bid.
Furthermore, as seen in the video that Reese shared, there's a lot of optimism surrounding the team amid their rise. The excitement is palpable, especially with the Sky winning three of their last five games.
