The Chicago Sky’s season certainly hasn’t gone as planned in head coach Tyler Marsh’s first year at the helm.
Injuries have taken a major toll, starting with veteran guard Courtney Vandersloot’s season-ending setback and, more recently, star forward Angel Reese, who has appeared in just two games since the All-Star break.
Sitting at 8-25 with only 11 games remaining, Chicago is essentially out of the playoff picture barring something unprecedented.
On a brighter note, Reese returned to on-court activities on Sunday—a promising sign of a potential comeback after missing the last seven games. Off the court, she also appears to have something in the works, leaving fans buzzing with excitement.
Reese, who launched her hit podcast "Unapologetically Angel" last year, hasn’t released a new episode in several months. But on Monday, she revealed the show is set to make its return soon—with some exciting potential changes—and even asked fans for their input.
“Okay so THE Unapologetically Angel Show is almost backkkk,” Reese posted. “What should we do for the first episode? What more do you guys want to see this season? I want to do more vlogs, lives, day-in-the-lifes, and of course sit down with some of our faves! Let me know!”

Angel Reese has become one of the most popular figures in all of sports, and certainly one of the biggest names in women’s basketball. While her first two seasons in the WNBA haven’t brought much team success, she’s a two-time All-Star, arguably the best rebounder in the game, and a consistent double-double machine. She's also become extremely business savvy.
One of her most exciting developments is set to unveil on Sept. 18, when her signature sneaker, "The Angel Reese 1," releases in three different colorways as part of her brand deal with Reebok. Now, it also seems her podcast—which attracted a lot of attention in its first year—could be making an anticipated return.
