Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky are finally out of the loss column.

Chicago was riding a three-game losing streak before playing the Los Angeles Sparks, who were previously ranked one seed ahead of the Sky.

On Tuesday, Reese helped lead the Sky to a 97-86 victory over the Sparks.

After the game, she admitted that the Sky took the matchup against Los Angeles personal, given the team's recent rut.

"Just taking things day by day…our coaching (staff)have did a good job…tonight we took it personal and knowing our matchups….we have to celebrate our small wins…tonight felt really good for us."

Reese also explained that Chicago must set the tone like they did against the Sparks on a consistent basis in order to find success.

"We got to set the tone every single night," Reese said, per Karli Bell. "We've let a lot of games slip away from us. We really wanted to win this one tonight."

The Chicago Sky are playing under first-year head coach Tyler Marsh

They began the season with an 0-4 record, tying the worst start in franchise history and entered the matchup against the Los Angeles Sparks with a 3-10 record.

After the win over the Sparks, the Sky snapped a losing streak that featured losses against that previously forced them to the No. 11 seed in the WNBA.

They wound up climbing over the Sparks for the No. 10 seed after the win over Los Angeles.

Angel Reese had a phenomenal game against the Los Angeles Sparks, posting 18 points, 17 rebounds and six assists for the Chicago Sky.
