Angel Reese Sends Personal Message After Team USA Move

Angel Reese is in Berlin, Germany, to represent Team USA in the FIBA World Cup. She’s part of the 12-player roster that also features her Atlanta Dream teammate Rhyne Howard.

Team USA recently finished the group stage, and the Dream star has been impressive. In three games played, she averaged 8.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.0 block in 17.2 minutes of action. Her best performance came against Czechia, when she recorded 13 points, six rebounds and three steals.

Reese has been a crucial part of the Team USA frontcourt and defense, and she has definitely stepped up in A’ja Wilson’s absence. She’s second on the team in blocks, third in rebounds and fourth in steals.

While Reese isn’t starting for Team USA in the FIBA World Cup, she’s delighted to be part of the squad and contribute in any way she can.

That much is clear in her latest post, in which she highlighted that playing for the national team is a dream come true.

“LIVING OUT MY DREAMS,” Reese wrote on her Instagram stories, which included a photo of herself smiling and posing while wearing Team USA gear.

Team USA has a chance to win its fifth straight World Cup title, which would also be a first for a debutante such as Reese.

Reese will play a crucial role for the Americans, though, as Team USA needs her remarkable rebounding, elite defense and physicality in order to compete against equally talented and highly physical teams in the World Cup.
