Angel Reese Teases Big News Ahead of Chicago Sky’s Matchup with Indiana Fever

The Chicago Sky (2–4) are riding a two-game win streak heading into their next matchup on Saturday against the Indiana Fever (3–4), who will be without star guard Caitlin Clark as she continues to rehab a quadriceps injury.

However, Sky forward Angel Reese will be on the floor—and on Wednesday evening, she teased potential big news on social media after noticing fans’ frustration over the lack of larger heel sizes, specifically sizes 11, 12, and 13.

“Let’s normalize for the heel brands to stop ending at a size 9 and give us them 11s, 12s, and 13s pleaseeeee,” Reese tweeted.

One fan replied, “ANGEL REESE SHOE LINE WHEN SISTER???” prompting a cryptic—but telling—response from Reese: three blushing face emojis with a hand over the mouth, fueling speculation that a dress shoe line might be in the works.

Currently, Angel Reese does not have her own signature sneaker line on the market, though she does have player-exclusive styles available through Reebok.

That’s set to change soon, as she is expected to launch her own line through her partnership with the brand. However, the upcoming release is anticipated to be a basketball shoe—not the type of footwear she recently brought attention to on social media.

That said, early previews and sneak peeks of her Reebok basketball sneaker have already surfaced, with the official release currently projected for 2026. Reese is one of only a handful of WNBA players to receive their own signature basketball shoe.

If she finds a way to expand into the casual footwear space—specifically dress or lifestyle shoes—she’d be breaking new ground. To date, the only real basketball player to successfully bridge the gap between performance sneakers and widely worn casual footwear on a major scale is Michael Jordan, whose iconic Jordan Brand continues to dominate in both arenas.
