2K Games officially unveiled the special‑edition covers for its upcoming NBA 2K26 release, with the Chicago Sky's Angel Reese as one of the cover stars..
The WNBA Edition will feature Reese, while the Standard Edition will have reigning NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous‑Alexander, the Superstar Edition will feature Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony and the Leave No Doubt Edition, available until early September 2025, will have all three on the cover.
The announcement coincides with the official unveiling of Reese’s first signature sneaker, the Angel Reese 1, produced in collaboration with Reebok, set to hit retailers in 2026.
Shortly after the cover reveal, WNBA veteran Kahleah Copper, who won the 2021 WNBA Finals MVP with Chicago and later joined Reese on the Unrivaled League’s Rose BC squad, sent a warm reaction.
"Pradaaaaaa youuuuuuu @Reese10Angel ❤️," Copper posted on X.

The Sky entered the 2025 WNBA season with high hopes under first‑year head coach Tyler Marsh, aiming to build on a 13‑win campaign from 2024.
Instead, a mix of injuries and roster turnover has left the Sky sitting at 5-13, anchored by two-time All-Star Reese but struggling to find consistent support around her.
Reese has shouldered much of the load, posting averages of 13.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game, leading the league in rebounding.
Despite her efforts, including a current string of six consecutive games with 15 or more rebounds (a WNBA record), the Sky have remained mired near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, boasting the second‑worst winning percentage (5-13) in the league.
Amid a disappointing season, Reese was at least able to celebrate a boost in her personal career on Wednesday.
