Angel Reese’s Clear Message About Romantic Life Causes a Stir

Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has become a prominent name in women’s basketball over the past few years, establishing herself as a force on the court.

During her rookie season, she led the WNBA with 13.1 rebounds per game, was named a WNBA All-Star and set the record for most consecutive double-doubles (15).

Off the court, Reese is an avid social media poster. Whether on Instagram, her "Unapologetically Angel" podcast on YouTube, or even X, she always makes her presence known to her followers.

Reese took to X on Friday to comment about her dating life, saying she doesn’t think she’ll ever make her future relationships public.

The post quickly gained attention with fans flooding the replies.

"Keep it private when you’re married too," one fan said. "Nobody needs to be in your business like that."

"You say this and then will probably post the most revealing and personal parts of your life within 24 hours," another wrote. "Similar to 'I’m at a loss for words' followed by hundreds of words."

"Privacy in relationships preserves magic for the couple, not the crowd. Keep it sacred until you're ready," said another.

"You don't need to be telling your business anyway," added a fan.

"That’s what’s happens when you live your life through social media," one stated.

"Feel free to keep everything private, please," a fan added.

In 2024, the former No. 7 overall pick averaged 13.6 points and 1.9 assists per game in addition to her league-leading 13.1 rebounds.

While the Sky fell short of the playoffs with a 13-27 record, there’s optimism for next season. With Tyler Marsh stepping in as head coach and young talents like Reese and Kamilla Cardoso returning, the team is poised for a fresh start.
