On Monday, Angel Reesefound herself traded from the Chicago Sky to the Atlanta Dream. The following day, she achieved something that no WNBA player has done before.

The Sky sent Reese to the Dream in exchange for two first-round picks in 2027 and 2028. Atlanta also received the rights to swap second-round picks with Chicago in 2028.

While Reese has hinted before that she would leave if the Sky didn't show any commitment to winning, it did not make the trade any less shocking, given that she was Chicago's best player. In her first two seasons with the team, Reese averaged 14.1 points and 12.9 rebounds and was a two-time All-Star.

As the 23-year-old star prepares for a new chapter in her WNBA career, however, that hasn't stopped her from being a trailblazer among her peers.

On Tuesday, she went to New York for her Victoria's Secret campaign, which drew plenty of attention as fans praised her continued success off the court.

What many didn't realize, though, is that Reese made history with her latest collaboration with Victoria's Secret. As the new Dream forward revealed, she's the "first WNBA player to star in a Victoria's Secret campaign."

Reese shared the historic fact on social media, along with several photos of herself promoting a couple of Victoria's Secret products: the Bombshell Bronze Eau de Parfum and the Push-Up Wireless Bandeau Strapless Bra.

In October 2025, Reese also made history as the first professional athlete to walk the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

As Reese continues to make a name for herself beyond the WNBA, it would not be surprising to see her set more firsts for female athletes.
