The Chicago Sky now have an 0-4 record during the 2025 WNBA season after their 94 to 89 loss against the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday. Chicago is still looking for its first win under new head coach Tyler Marsh.

After dropping their first three contests to the Indiana Fever, New York Liberty and Los Angeles Sparks by a combined 73 points, the Sky showed improvement with a five-point defeat against the Mercury.

Despite the loss, both Ariel Atkins and Kamilla Cardoso turned in season-high point totals with 21 and 16, respectively. Veteran guard Courtney Vandersloot had a 15-point, 11-assist double-double, and 2024 WNBA All-Star Angel Reese scored 13 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.

Reese gained notoriety during her first professional season in 2024 when she led the league with 13.1 rebounds per game and landed on the All-Rookie team. She earned sponsorships with major brands like McDonald's, Amazon and Reebok.

An announcement was made earlier in the offseason about Reese having her own signature line and shoe deal with Reebok. On Wednesday, Reebok revealed Reese's personal logo with the company.

"Just the beginning," Reebok wrote. "Reebok x Angel: like you've never seen before."

Through four games in her sophomore campaign, Reese is averaging a 10.0-point, 14.0-rebound double-double. Her rebounding numbers lead the WNBA once again, and she is contributing an impressive 2.3 assists and 2.0 steals per night as well.

Chicago will be back in action on Thursday evening, as they will return home to take on the 1-4 Dallas Wings. This will be another opportunity for coach Marsh and the Sky to earn their first victory of the 2025 season.
