The Atlanta Dream have had a solid start to the season with a new head coach and a new system. They are currently 3-2 and have had some good performances from Allisha Gray in their past two games against the Dallas Wings and Connecticut Sun.
Brittney Griner has also played well as a new addition to the team and has stabilized the Dream on both sides of the ball. On offense, Griner has been hard to stop in the paint, and not many centers can match up with her. On defense, she's been a force in the paint as well and has altered any shot that comes her way.
Throughout Griner's career, she has been one of the league's best rebounders and is moving up on the all-time rebounding list. Though she may be moving up, somebody just passed her up on the list, and it was Jonquel Jones.

In the New York Liberty's latest game against the Golden State Valkyries, Jones passed Griner (2,353) for 20th on the WNBA All-Time Rebounds list. There is no doubt that they could go back and forth on the list for the rest of the season, as they're both still playing at a high level.
Griner has shown that she will be an important part of the Dream this season, and she will help them get to the next level.
