Brittney Griner has had a successful season with the Atlanta Dream, playing her first season with the WNBA team.
Griner has been playing alongside some of the biggest stars in the WNBA such as Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard.
All three players have helped put the Dream in position to compete for a WNBA title, currently ranked as one of the top teams in the league, forcing themselves in the same conversations as teams like the New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx.
On Friday, the Dream added to their roster, bulking their depth during the WNBA season.
Atlanta signed Sika Kone to a rest-of-season contract.
"Welcome to the A, Sika Kone," posted the official social media account of the Atlanta Dream. "The Atlanta Dream has signed forward Sika Koné to a rest-of-season contract, the organization announced today."

Before joining Brittney Griner on the Atlanta Dream, Sika Kone played 11 games with the Washington Mystics during the 2025 season.
Throughout the season, Kone posted 2.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game.
Kone has also spent time with the following teams ahead of her arrival in Atlanta: the Minnesota Lynx and the Chicago Sky. She was drafted by the Sky, playing for Angel Reese's team in her rookie season.
Brittney Griner has been a solid addition to the Atlanta Dream's roster.
Throughout her first season with the Dream, Griner has posted 10.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. Griner leads Atlanta on the defensive end with 1.1 blocks per game.
