Caitlin Clark Answers NFL Position Question Without Hesitation

Caitlin Clark established herself as one of the WNBA's best playmakers in her rookie season. While she's largely known for her long-range shooting ability coming out of college, the Indiana Fever star quickly proved that she can also pass the ball at an elite level in the pros.

The WNBA All-Star finished her first year as the league's assists leader, averaging 8.4 assists per game. She compiled a total of 337 assists, which is also the most in the league and 20 more than the second-placed Alyssa Thomas.

With that said, it's no surprise that when Clark was asked what position she would have played had she been an NFL player, she didn't hesitate to answer, "Quarterback."

Clark made the admission in a video she taped for the Eli Manning show. In a rapid-fire questions segment, Clark was asked a variety of personal questions, including the NFL position query.

Considering her accuracy and ability to dish out the ball, Caitlin Clark certainly has the tools to be a quarterback if she were an NFL player.

It's also worth noting that Clark grew up idolizing NFL legend Peyton Manning, who played for the Indianapolis Colts from 1998 to 2011. She's also a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, with her current favorite player from the team being Patrick Mahomes.

Having watched both QBs, it's safe to assume Clark has learned a lot from the two elite signal-callers.
