Caitlin Clark Had No Words for Indiana Fever Announcement on Saturday

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are officially 1-0. 

The Fever defeated Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky 93-58 in their first game of the season, starting the Stephanie White era with a blowout win. 

It was a historic game for the Fever. After the matchup, Indiana announced that the blowout victory was at the top of franchise history. 

"Largest season-opening win in franchise history," announced the official social media account of the Indiana Fever. 

Clark reposted the news on social media, sharing the Indiana Fever's announcement with over 3.1 million followers on Instagram. 

Caitlin Clark finished the game with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists per game. 

With the stat line, Clark now has the third-most triple-doubles in WNBA history. During her rookie season, Clark had two triple doubles. 

She also posted four blocks, the most of any point guard in a season opener in WNBA history. 

Clark's teammate DeWanna Bonner, also had a historic game. Bonner finished the blowout win over the Chicago Sky with seven points, three rebounds and two assists. 

During the game, Bonner passed Tina Thompson for the No. 3 spot on the WNBA's all-time scoring list. Throughout her WNBA career, Bonner has posted 7,489 points. She now stands behind Diana Taurasi and Tina Charles. 

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will be back on the court on Tuesday, set to face the Atlanta Dream at 7 p.m. ET. 

After the two-game homestead, the Fever will travel to Atlanta to face the Dream on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
