Caitlin Clark Has Strong Take About Indiana Fever

"I feel like this locker room is a very tight-knit group, and we just have fun with one another," Clark said in her pregame press conference when asked what she thinks about the Fever amid all the outside noise that they are dealing with.

"We love showing up and getting to compete every single day. And, you know, we're 20 and 12, but I feel like we could be even better than that. And we have the potential to grow even more. I think that's what's the exciting part."

Clark mentioned that the Fever "had moments where we can really feel like we're a title contender." With that said, she firmly believes they can be a dangerous team if they are able to find that consistency.

The 24-year-old star acknowledged that the situation won't always be great, but she emphasized that they need to "just keep getting back up and keep fighting." She's not worried about the team, though, knowing how "resilient" they have been.

"I think this group has done a really good job of being resilient and all that," Clark added.

It remains to be seen if the Fever will be able to actually contend for a championship. However, there's no denying that they are on the right track.

Indiana has beaten the defending WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces, twice this season. They are also still very much in contention to finish within the top two or three spots in the WNBA standings.
