Caitlin Clark was recently involved in a major announcement that hit the WNBA community, regarding her participation in All-Star weekend.

Clark was previously announced as the WNBA All-Star captain. After selecting her team, she's decided to take another step forward in the prestigious event.

On Tuesday, The Athletic staff writer Scott Agness reported that Clark will be participating in the WNBA All-Star 3-point contest. She will be joined by Kelsey Plum, Allisha Gray, Sonia Citron and Sabrina Ionesco.

The 3-point contest will take place on Friday, while the All-Star game will be played on Saturday between Team Caitlin Clark and Team Napheesa Collier.

Clark will have an opportunity to put on a show in front of her home crowd. The WNBA All-Star game will be played in Indianapolis, the home of the Indiana Fever.

After the news was announced, the Fever reacted to Clark's participation in the 3-point contest on social media.

"HEAT CHECK," posted the Indiana Fever." "Repping the home team, Caitlin Clark is locked in for the 2025 WNBA STARRY 3-Point Contest at #WNBAAllStar2025!

In her second season in the WNBA, Clark is averaging 16.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 9.0 assists per game. She leads the Fever in average assists and is known as one of the top facilitators in the WNBA.

Clark is shooting 37.4% from the field and 28.9% from 3-point.

Although she's struggled from beyond the arc at times this season, Clark is widely considered one of the best shooters from range since her college days with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

She finished her collegiate career as the NCAA's all-time leading scorer for both men's and women's basketball, scoring 3,951 points in four seasons.
