Caitlin Clark is officially back to basketball action. The Indiana Fever star played just 13 games in 2025 due to a groin injury, with the team officially ruling her out for the rest of the campaign in September after determining she needed more time to recover.

Clark last played on July 15 against the Connecticut Sun. She averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.6 steals en route to being voted an All-Star and All-Star captain.

Now, five months after her last 5-on-5 basketball action, Clark marked her return to the court during the Team USA training camp. Not only did she say that she's back to a "hundred percent," but she also showed off some of the incredible plays that made her such a dangerous force in women's basketball.

One play that stood out from Friday's Team USA scrimmage was her step-back 3-pointer, which she drained flawlessly.

USA Basketball shared a video of the play and captioned it with a simple "taking notes" emoji.

Naturally, fans were hyped up to see Clark back to her usual self and shooting triples once again. One viewer even stated, "I underestimated how much joy seeing this would bring me!"

"Glad to see CC hooping for the first time in months," a fan added. An excited commenter wrote, "Woohoo welcome back CC! We missed you on the court!"

"Clark looks healthy and has her shooting form back. Love it," a supporter remarked.

A fifth follower shared, "Glad to see CC healthy!"

"This is the best news ever," a poster stated.

Clark was selected to participate in the Team USA training camp along with 16 other players, including her Fever teammate Aliyah Boston, as well as young stars such as Angel Reese, Paige Bueckers , Cameron Brink, Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen and Rickea Jackson.

Team USA's training camp lasts until Sunday. USA Women’s National Team managing director Sue Bird will then evaluate the players before deciding on the team for the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup, scheduled from Sept. 4-13, 2026, in Berlin.
