Caitlin Clark’s second WNBA season has been anything but smooth. The Indiana Fever star entered 2025 with high expectations following a strong rookie campaign, but a series of setbacks derailed her progress. Clark appeared in only 13 games this year as she battled multiple lower-body issues, including quad tightness, a left ankle bone bruise, and groin strains, that forced her out for the remainder of the season.

Despite losing their superstar guard and floor general, Indiana managed to stay competitive and finished the regular season as the sixth seed. In the playoffs, the Fever advanced past the third-seeded Atlanta Dream in the first round.

The Fever have proven resilient even without Clark’s on-court presence and are now in a tough semifinals battle against the Las Vegas Aces. Although sidelined, Clark has remained one of the most visible figures in the WNBA. She has been a constant supporter of her teammates on the bench while continuing her rehabilitation.

Off the floor, she has also strengthened her brand. On Aug. 25, Nike Basketball officially announced Clark as its newest signature athlete and her debut apparel—a navy and yellow logo T-shirt—hit stores in North America on Sept. 1. It was also announced that a full line of apparel, including hoodies and other gear, is set to launch on Oct 1 at Nike.com, placing her alongside A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, and Angel Reese as the only active WNBA players with signature collections. Her signature shoe is also expected to drop in 2026

While the news has been well received by Clark’s legion of fans, one of her signature hoodies drew extra attention when her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, was spotted on Aug. 26 wearing an unreleased black hoodie embossed with her logo.

Now, it appears that same hoodie has been listed on the Nike website and will be part of her official October release.

Clark has been a Nike athlete since 2022, after her breakout year at Iowa. In April 2024 she signed a historic eight-year, $28 million endorsement contract that includes a future signature shoe and apparel collection.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces return to action on Friday night with their semifinal series tied at one game apiece. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, broadcast live on ESPN2.

Indiana opened the best-of-five series by stunning the Aces with an 89-73 win in Las Vegas. However, the Aces stormed back in Game 2, dominating the Fever 90-68 behind A’ja Wilson’s strong performance.
