Caitlin Clark Praised for What She Did Amid Injury

While Caitlin Clark is sidelined and won't be on the court for at least the next two weeks, she's not resting at home.

For the Indiana Fever's road game against the Washington Mystics on Wednesday, Clark — who is dealing with a left quadriceps strain — joined her teammates at Royal Farms Arena to babysit, take photos and just show her support.

Clark, however, didn't forget about the fans as well. The Fever star is undoubtedly the most popular player in the WNBA today, so naturally, there are a ton of fans wanting to meet and take a photo with her and get her autograph.

Since the 23-year-old playmaker has some time before the game against the Mystics, she made sure the fans who came to watch the game were taken care of.

Sure enough, fans loved the gesture, with many showing their appreciation for what she did for her supporters.

"That’s what it’s about," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "That's @CaitlinClark22 for you. Fan friendly as always while not neglecting team duties."

"She’s so committed to her fans, the game, and this league," a fan added.

A supporter shared, "And this is why she travelled, she might not be on the court but she knows she can still make a few kids happy and enjoy their experience regardless if she suits up or not."

"A big reason it’s important she comes even though she can’t play," a follower remarked.

A sixth supporter expressed sadness at not seeing her play, though, noting: "CC I miss you already!! Man this sucks so bad!"

Caitlin Clark is set to be re-evaluated on June 9, so she'll be out for the Fever's next four games, including the Mystics showdown. Depending on the results of her next evaluation, there's a possibility she could miss more games.

Despite that, though, it doesn't look like Clark has any plans to spend her time away from the team.
