Caitlin Clark Reacts to WNBA All-Star News Amid Second Season
Jeffrey Becker

Caitlin Clark entered the WNBA as a star and continued her legacy with the Indiana Fever

After making a name for herself as one of the most talented players in women's basketball with the Iowa Hawkeyes, Clark became a WNBA All-Star in her rookie season with the Fever.

Now, in her second season in the WNBA, Clark is looking to make her second All-Star game, which will be hosted in Indianapolis.

On Thursday, the Fever announced that voting for the All-Star game has officially opened.

"VOTING IS NOW OPEN," posted the official social media account of the Indiana Fever.

Caitlin Clark reacted to the news by reposting the announcement from the Fever, sharing the news with millions of followers on social media.

The Indiana Fever advertised three players in their WNBA All-Star post: Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.

All three players made the All-Star game last season when the Fever were the only team in the WNBA to have three representatives at All-Star weekend.

The WNBA All-Star game will take place on July 19, midway through the WNBA season.

In her second season in the WNBA, Caitlin Clark has averaged 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game.

Before suffering an injury that has kept her sidelined for the past five games, Clark led the Indiana Fever in scoring and assists.

The former Rookie of the Year and WNBA All-Star has a chance to return to the lineup on Saturday when the Fever face the New York Liberty at 3 p.m. ET.
